Book: Legacy After Loss

Hope for living with grief from someone who understands

Grief changes everything. After the initial shock of losing someone you love fades, what comes next can feel uncertain–like you’re standing in a life you no longer recognize, wondering how to move forward or if joy is still possible.

In this deeply personal and compassionate book, Chelsea Ohlemiller walks beside you through that uncertainty. Drawing from her own experience of loss, she offers a tender, honest exploration of what it means to live with grief. Through raw storytelling and thoughtful reflection, she gently guides you through the ache of absence while helping you rediscover meaning, connection, and even hope.

Rather than asking you to “move on,” this book invites you to grow into something new–to navigate the emptiness without losing yourself, to carry love forward in new ways, and to find comfort in the memories that remain. It speaks to both the quiet strength it takes to honor a life while continuing to live your own and the enduring impact of the legacy your loved one leaves behind.

This honest yet hopeful book helps you learn what it looks like to live with grief–not by moving on but by remembering deeply, loving forward, and transforming memory into a lasting legacy.
