    I am so very grateful finding your essay on “The Day She Dies”…it helped me finally speak the words I dared not communicate as a child into adulthood w children of my own…my mother passed from Cancer ..I was 7yrs old…my sister …5yrs and my brother a infant…The void and heartbreak watching my little brother cry for he knew not what his tears were…my sister and I watched over him as he and we grew to adutlhood..

Through her grief journey, she decided to take her mother’s advice and share her writing with the world. One day she gained the courage to honor her mother's wishes and write. It turned out to be one of the best decisions she's ever made.
